Subject: Hog barn flooring

I need advice…..
I’ve got big dreams. A 5 year plan.
I’m wanting to build a hog barn on my property. I want to keep 12 breeding sows, Durocs, and 2 Berkshire boars. I’m hoping to raise 250ish hogs. 12 different stalls of one litter at a time. 10-15 pigs or so. Each stall will have a 16x16 inside and 16x16 outside space. I’ll butcher all the pigs at my usda certified plant that I’m also planning on building next to the hog barn.

The one thing that I’m stuck on the most is trying to figure out if I should put up the money to get slat floors or with that square footage and low stocking density do I actually need the slats. Will partial slats be ok? Do I need the outside space or will the dirt just bring on more diseases. Should I do an outside space with partial slats also?

Any advice at all is appreciated
