North Carolina | Long story, but I'm correcting a GRC-liquid install on an 1803 Ag Chem sprayer done by another dealer. These machines use a hydraulic servo valve (like the chain conveyor hydraulic valve on a New Leader spreader bed) to turn a hydraulic PTO which spins the solution pump. I am using this valve as the control valve b/c this is the only feasible way to vary the spray output rate. Through trial and error and consulting the RC manual I think I've found that Fast-Close is the appropriate valve type in the GRC.
If anyone else has this type of setup, do you mind sharing what calibration number you used?
