Subject: Hydraulic cavitation

Scottville, 49454 Northwest Michigan
Challenger 765C tractor. Hydraulic oil is at a good level. Filters were changed not too long ago.

I’m running two remotes constantly for two separate hydraulic requirements for our planter.

Every-so-often I have to temporarily shut them done due to that annoying whining noise, that I think of as cavitation. Let sit for five minutes, and then go again until the next time.

Anyone got an idea what the cause is… what to look for or trouble shoot?
