I was disappointed that the carefully laid out and braced ceiling joists in my shop are too far apart for the plywood I purchased.  Silly me, I  thought 4x8 plywood would be 48x96 but it isn't.  

I can only assume that I will sister some 2x4's  on to the ceiling joists now.
