East Central Ia | Have a 400 Magnum Rowtrac with Ag Leader ISO steering and it’s a PITA to get the two to talk at start up.
We have tried every combination of powering up the tractor first or Ag Leader first or simultaneously and nothing seems to be the correct procedure to ensure it works every time.
The tractor has a button on the upper right cab roof that you have push to enable ISO steering.
I think the only thing we have figured out that never works is letting either the tractor electronics fully boot up or the Ag Leader fully boot up before booting up the other or pushing the button.
It seems like a simple communication handshake that times out if things are just perfect.
Sometimes it works on the first try, sometimes it takes 20 mins worth or rebooting things…
If this is as good as this system works we are going to be PO’D and have to move to the OEM Case system which I am not sure will work on our RTK system… and cost a bunch of money. | |
