Subject: need quick answer, bread maker time

East central Iowa

I started my breadmaker and below is a chart telling how long each operation requires.  But it doesn't exactly make sense to me.

I want to take the dough out before it starts to bake and put it into regular bread pans.  So I need to know at what point in time that happens.

The chart appears to show the amount of time each step takes but adding them up prior to the baking step seems to add up to more time than the entire baking process.

I just don't follow the numbers in blue to achieve the loaf because 10+20+13+35+2.22+40 = 258 or 4.3 hours which as I recall more time than the entire procedure requires.

Crud, I think I've been reading 2.22 as 2 hours and 22 minutes.  I didn't imagine that any bread maker would be so precise as to measure in seconds.

Well at least I've answered that question.

I've greased a couple of bread pans and hope I can get the dough split in ½ to put in each pan.

Hope I've given somebody a chuckle.
