Subject: Why does monitor show as "blue" in photos?

Chebanse, IL.....

I have a monitor at the farm that I occasionally take photos of with camera phone, like when I want a Harbor Freight coupon. Easy to use on a phone. But....when I take a photo of my screen, the photo turns very blue, though I think my printers call it Cyan, but it's blue. You can see the photo, but everyone comments, "why is it so blue....".

Now, when I take a photo of my home monitor (different make) it looks just as white & clear as when you view the monitor live.

What is causing this in my farm computer monitor? Not that it's real big deal, but I would just like to understand it.
