| So I have kicked around the idea of putting a small barn up to raise a small group of beef steers. Primarily for freezer beef. Thinking of two groups of 12-15 steers. Sell one group to the freezer in the spring and the other group to the freezer in the fall. Whatever isn’t sold, will just have to go to the sale barn. Anybody have any barn recommendations for this? I want to get the kids involved in helping raise livestock. Even if it is just on a small scale. Any advice or opinions is greatly appreciated. | |
