Subject: Happy Thanksgiving to Our American Neighbors..

Arva, Ontario
Notice that in respect to the American holiday, I even spelled ‘neighbour’ incorrectly... *grin*

I think one of the social skills that has eroded severely in the last 20-30 years is gratitude. Being grateful or thankful for the most basic things has really taken a beating.
I suspect that a lot of it has to do with the fact that we are bombarded by marketing 24/7 telling us that we are NOT happy, but would be happy if only we had their product or service.

So today, I’m thankful that we live in relative peace and prosperity compared to many on the planet. I’m thankful that food is plentiful, and we have the liberty to travel and share that abundance with friends and family.

I’m thankful for a North American economy that functions relatively well, and issues are resolved peacefully.

Every day above the grass is a good one, but it’s like beer, some are just better than others...

Happy Thanksgiving from Ontario, Canada.

Ken
