west central mo | I always put on in the spring. Usually the weather and harvest don't cooperate in the fall, and I'm not sure how much you lose so I never have. That being said weather is looking extremely cooperative which makes me think next year maybe super dry. Anyways what does everyone put on as far as rate? Do you put on the same amount as if you would in the spring? How deep do you go? Same depth as Spring? Is 50 degree soil temps the guide you go by? Any side by side comparisons in spring vs. fall? Its so expensive I hate to waste it, but I think it'd be worth 5-10 bushel to have it on so I'm not fighting it in the spring. | |
