Subject: Musty smell in old wood dresser

NE Indiana
Looking for advice on how to eliminate or at least reduce the musty smell in the wood of this old dresser I got from my grandparents. It sat closed up with sewing fabric in it for probably 60 years, and probably didn’t get opened more than a couple times in the past 30 years.

I’ve tried lemon oil all over it twice, multiple boxes of dryer sheets, cedar planks, vinegar/water spray… nothing seems to do much good. I’ve tried everything above with all the drawers fully out of the dresser and with just cracked open drawers.

I’d love to use it as my own dresser for clothes, but afraid I’ll ruin my clothes with the smell if I use it as is.

Thanks
