Texas | Maybe the bad reviews were a legitimate clue of how bad that location had deteriorated. A lack of caring and willing workers to do their jobs well is common. I hadn’t been by that particular Taco Casa for at least a year.
A different location has at times had a paper sign on the drive thru asking customers to please be patient as they were short on employees. There was also a sign advertising they were hiring. They are sometimes closed on Sundays due to lack of workers.
Taco Casa is quite popular in Texas. For one to go out of business, things must've been extremely bad with customer service issues. Maybe corporate pulled the plug? On the weekends there was often a long line of cars for the drive thru at the Sherman location.
