WC Illinois | Mother is still alive, father has passed. They had seperate trusts. Four siblings want to sell 80 acres that is split between the two trusts. The fifth sibling is a estranged and doesn’t want to sell. The mother is in an assisted living on Medicade and all expenses paid. She will not need anymore financial assistance. The attorney says hems standard prevents them from selling without the written permission from the estranged sibling. How can they sell the property without the fifth siblings permission? He would still get his equal share.
