Subject: Chopping short corn

Saskatchewan
A couple pictures from the start of this years corn silage. Like pretty well everywhere else, one of the driest years anyone can remember. Had a few rains a couple weeks ago that greened the corn up from what it had looked like. Moisture was 70% here. The header we set up a few years ago, it really shines in short corn that has been frozen and turns brown, and doesn’t feed into the rotary heads without plugging.
