| Hey Guys,
I live in Northwest Oklahoma where our biggest crop is Hard Red Winter Wheat. We had a 160 acre field that had a lot of Feral Rye Joint Grass and Cheat. It is a Very Sandy Type Soil. We planted it back to Wheat last fall and Grazed it off and disked it in April. We got 1 inch of Rain a week and half ago. I planted Milo on it Last Saturday with our John Deere 1910 and 730 Conventional Till Airseeder. I set the Aiseeder to plant 3 pounds per Acre. We also Banded 15 pounds of Phosphorus and 20 Pounds of Nitrogen in Furrow. I set the Airseeder up to plant twin Row 30 Inch Rows. I had the Co-op spray Atrazine, Charger Basic and Round-up on it Monday. This evening I went and looked around at that Field and I really don't see much coming up yet. I just saw a few plants here and there. I dug around and found a few seeds but it doesn't seem like they are doing much. I know I was planting into good moisture. The Press wheels on the Airseeder had some mud built up on them. How much longer do you guys think it will be before I should be able to row it?
Thank you,
