Subject: Ration for light weights

Ne Nebraska
Just thinkin ahead some here, grass ain’t lookin good at all. 1/3 of pairs should make it the season, 1/3 pry make it into sept and 1/3 might make it into August, unless things change soon and drastically. What’s the best ration for say a 4wt calf? Lots and lots of alfalfa on hand. Grass hay pry goin to be tight but will have some. Silage be available come fall. Corn that can be rolled in the bin. Corn stalks and crp hay available but not sure that’s a good place to use it. Rest would have to be bought. Could always dry lot the pair but not sure if that’s the most efficient or not?
