Is it possible to feed a GPS signal into a greenstar display from other than a starfire receiver?

This is with an Greenstar 3 armrest display on a 7260R.  Mostly a boredom project.  I want to see what the little display can do.  I'm aware I won't get autotrac.  I'm just wondering if it can map anything at all.
