SW “Ohia”

Cut 5 or 6 lengths of 3/4” round stock about 4ft long and use them to roll it outside.

Lift with pallet forks under the dovetails of the ram. (Run it out to give equal length front and back.) You might need to block one fork a bit to help balance it. Usually a 2x6 on one fork and a piece of plywood on the other works, depending on how it’s equipped. If you have wide forks and a smaller machine, watch to not hit the quill before lifting. Lower the knee all the way down. Don’t flip the head unless you plan on disassembling it to clean inside.

Don’t drop it. They’re not difficult machines to move, compared to many others.
