One of the best tractor-threshing shows in Kansas is at Goessel,KS on August 6th thru the 8th..Its not that far north of Wichita..Theres a big parade on Main Street at 9:30 AM on Saturday morning...The very interesting Mennonite-Wheat Heritage Museum is right there on the show grounds..Theres lots to see and do...They plow,saw,thresh,combine-etc...A collector at the east end of town once owned around 20 huge prairie tractors and still has 4-5 left that he shows....He also owns several steam engines that he shows...It can sometimes be very hot during this show so be prepared...One year it was actually cool and I wore a jacket for the parade..I'll probably go this year as I was last there in 2018..
