We're upgrading to a newer machine so time to sell our old Cat. It's been a good machine for us. We've owned it about 5 years and have done alot of work with it. I believe it's a 1978 model, has had alot of new parts and things fixed while we've owned it. New hydraulic rotary swivel 3 years ago, rebuilt stick cylinder 3 years ago, a few new track links, some new hoses, radio in cab works, heater did work last time we used it. Put new injectors in last year. The cab glass is all there except the front bottom window, we have the frame but it's a little bent up, had a tree branch come up into it and haven't fixed it yet. Some windows have some cracks but we've been using it that way. Engine fires up good, doesn't seem to use any oil. Undercarriage is getting worn but still works, bucket linkage has a little slop but once again still working. It's a big old heavy machine that will do a lot of work yet. Would be great for someone who has a farmstead or a bunch of trees that need tore down and cleaned up. I have a video of it also I could text someone if they want. Asking $16,8000 OBO.
