live in Spfd, farm located NW Macoupin county | DON'T DO IT. As other s have already said, the Ranger is not built for that heavy of a load. You will have 2 trucks with bad transmissions shortly after you leave the driveway with that set-up.
I understand the short on cash situation, but either hire the tractor hauled, borrow/rent a different truck, or wait till you get the other truck fixed before going to get the tractor.
I am currently on my 3rd Ranger and they have all been good reliable trucks. But this is expecting too much out of a Ranger. |
