I do know estimates vary largely because of the "organic" component within the manure. In regards to N release from the manure, I was taught that it was a 1/3, 1/3, 1/3. Meaning that 1/3 was available the first year, 1/3 the second. and 1/3 the third. Maybe that has changed??? I don't have much experience in that when it comes to manure.
