central mich | Many years ago we were a Baldwin distributor and bought direct from Baldwin but Baldwin then implemented master distributors so we ordered from them for awhile but they knew how to charge. So eventually we bought Baldwins where we could and other lots of filters. Today we have hundreds of filters in stock and they are all in numerical order using Baldwin numbers. We use NAPA but they are high priced. Fleetpride carries Baldwin but they are high also. Even ebay is pricey but if you shop you can find a few good prices.. But thanks to massive inflation since Covid about every thing is double or more. We buy pallets of filters at auction and just add to our collection. We sell some surplus on ebay.
I think the best way to buy Baldwin is just goodle and buy from the lowest price. We just did that for a 185 air compressor. Checked our local and ended up buying from on line, and one place was ZORO where we bought two large outer Baldwins at an
excellent price.. Sometimes even John Deere is competitive. It takes time but we do save on filters.
