Iowa | I bought an OTC 3/4" drive new 20 years ago thinking it should last me a life time no more than I would use it. It felt like it started jumping a tooth in the ratchet when you put pressure on it and would about throw your back out when it did it.
This spring the micrometer handle came apart on it. I sent it in to the repair center listed in the owner's manual. They looked at it and said it's junk as parts aren't available to fix it.
They sold me a new gear wrench brand 600ft./lb. 3/4 drive for about 1/2 of what I see them listed for online I assume since they couldn't fix the OTC one. It seems ok so far but we'll see.
I've been told Precision Instruments brand is a good one. 475 is what I've always put hub pilots at.
