NeMO | Those sales were traded well before today. When announcements are released the market already was aware. There has been talks that China has been buying for over a week. Like I said it's a good sign along with earlier announced purchases(that were bigger) but they're still less than 5% toward their supposedly agreed upon quota.
There may be new purchases today(that will be announced next week) but a lot of the strength today is tied to the report, crush margins, weather, and old crop beans as the funds have exhausted farmer selling and are free to run with the market.
