East Central Arkansas
Muscadines grow wild here in the Midsouth in wooded areas. Many have planted tame varieties. My uncle planted several vines in his yard. They are a gold color when ripe rather than the deep purple of the wild ones.
Went to a place the other day that had a nice size orchard of tame blackberries and also muscadines.
Were you able to get veges this year for doing any fermented recipes?
