There used to be a lot of small seed companies, now it`s basically DeKalb has same genetics in a Channel box if for some reason you don`t want to plant DeKalb. Well, split `em up a couple times and get more competition and I know this traited seed got us to this wonderful utopia, made possible by seed and chemical "marriages", but input prices is the big piece of lack of farm profitability.

You got Syngenta and Chem China probably willing to throw sweetheart deals to South America to get them to expand so China can import cheap beans and make us compete with the lowest common denominator. Other seed and Chem companies have to match Chinese companies or give up market share.

I doubt Brazil "calls Dusty and buys Redline seed for $120/bag" I`m sure Brazil plants the good stuff like we do, but at less than half cost.
