Wisconsin | If you're going to try, concentrate on the area that's rusted. Usually I get an area that's clean from the abrasion, then an area that has rusty flaky paint, then an area that has solid paint. The clean area you can prep and paint, but the paint will wear off again. The solid paint area you can paint but it doesn't need it much. The flaky paint area is where the grass sticks worst and you can make a difference with a power wire brush and ospho, then a rusty metal primer and a couple coats of enamel. | |
