All I know is they charge too much on some things and have inventory up the wazooo. Don’t make much money not selling anything. But the ceo and such get their big bonus and the company sells 10 cents on the dollar and rinse repeat. Farmers are our biggest enemy’s. We do most of these things to each other and the big corps use it against quite well.
If farmers would get a little more jingle in their pockets from lower inputs, they would just spend it and cause machinery to go even higher. Then there is the predatory cash rent. Farmers don't like profit. They like not paying taxes. As long as not paying taxes is the goal as an industry, we will never be highly profitable as a whole. |
