95 miles NW of Quitaque, TX | During the Biden administration I paid a little over $6 for fuel oil plus 20% tax on the fuel. That was a year contract.
So there is not a lot of fuel oil being used right. I am guessing this is probably near the low going in the fall.
Heating oil in Maryland averages between $4.20 to $5.25 per gallon, depending on your delivery volume and location. Prices typically rise during the winter months, with recent peaks reaching up to $5.37 per gallon in late March.
Do not forget the 20% tax on top of the price for PG county. The state needs its cut.
