I grew up in Nebraska and I enjoy living here. The other states mentioned are similar, I'm sure of that.

There's plenty of things to explore and have interesting road trips too. Sure, we don't have the ocean, but its only a plane ride away if you want to vacation there.

Nebraska has some incredible hills and valleys, as well as the unique sand hills regions. Driving down I-80 does not show those places!!

The side jobs in AG will be easy to find. Everyone needs help during the busy seasons.

I would also encourage you to finish out your military career. My friends that have done that are rewarded with good pensions and are still young enough to start a new venture or second career if they choose to.
