North Central Indiana | Up by maybe 15-20% here. But the county has 6 public schools and all the others are declining in enrollment either because of population or the students are coming to the “better” school in our town. I thought it made sense to go to 2 schools for the county when I was in high school, now it certainly does. We are blessed with a really good school here though which helps. That’s also part of the reason kids are leaving the other schools. School gets smaller, community gets smaller, funding goes down, school has less resources, more students leave and the cycle continues. | |
