| Here’s the latest report.. I know this board gives government reports et all.. a hard time but.. it’s the best we’ve got.
The commercial “off farm” number should be accurate to the bushel since those numbers are “inspected” and reported in order to maintain a warehouse license.
The on farm number is the WAG.. it’s surveyed.. guesstimated.. which is why it’s more rounded.
Again I personally believe we are seeing growth in the fringe but yields can be quite variable.. thus production swings.. both above and below expectations.. can be real.. overall.. we have upward trending yields.. but maybe flatter and lower then we think.. my WAG only.. “your mileage may vary.”

interesting topic.. as corn basis in extreme SW Ks is starting to pop.. also. Despite respectable “dryland” yields and acres.
