Morgan Co. Illinois | When I graduated high school here in 1974 classes ran 35-40 down from around fifty when the early boomers were attending. High school now averages maybe 20. Since I was there, they have bought two houses and a commercial building that joined them and tore them down for more parking. They just bought yet another commercial building that joins the campus to house the district offices, because heaven forbid an administrator has contact with the students, and to have a place to hold school board meetings besides the school library. But hey it's only $130 some thousand and yet another building off the tax rolls. I'll quit ranting. | |
