Central KS | Rental law has a lot to do with this, at least in my area. A farmer will buy a property with a decent house on it and then let it sit and rot rather than deal with the possibility of a bad tenant and the hassle of removing them.
Lot's of good people looking for a house in the country, but also some meth heads looking for a place away from the population centers. And the courts will almost always side with the meth head. Sure you might get a good tenant, but it's not worth the nightmares you will deal with if you get a bad one. | |
