East Central SD | A while back I had a post about the soybean market maybe having some legs and didn't get much response. Hopefully you guys can help me out a little today please.
Where are the beans? Who still has some?
I still have about 25% of my old crop personally.
The reason I ask is basis is strong locally here in SD. Not as strong as it should be as apparently Volga is shipping in sb on rail. They just about ran out in May.
Sioux City has had a strong push at times. Hearing St. Louis bid was over $12 before yesterday.
I thought the only beans left were probably in ND and now yesterday I saw on Twitter 2 processors up there went to a positive basis.
It sure feels like we are near pipeline supplies or even less.
Columbia with a good purchase this morning and China back in yesterday for 5 cargos adds to the story.
I'm feeling greedy right now as this feels like it could run so please share all bearish news as well to keep me in check. | |
