Sounds like a decent buy depending what you have to give. They made improvements to the 2000 series as they went and theres a few serial # breaks. The last year or 2 were the best and they're easy to spot since they have the Case IH logo with the red i. Another break was roughly when they switched from the HAJ serial # to CBJ. Most improvements were to the gearboxes and slip clutches. IMO the Calmer rolls are easier on gearboxes than the stock knives.
