That is what makes this confounding. No pattern.


It sounds like something is slipping. I would inspect the drives carefully. Perhaps a drive coupling that is welded into the vertical auger is not welded correctly and slips when loaded any amount. A robot welded joint only needs to have a tiny amount of offset from correct and makes a very nice looking weld but holds nothing.
