I should have done this years ago. I just got done swapping out the POS Caps fuel system on my 8.3 Cummins in my Massey 8780xp combine. It runs like a real engine and I can quit worrying about The Caps failing like it has done about every 1500 hours since new. The machine has over 5000 hours on it. Used a kit for a Case tractor. It was not a cheap thing to do but keeping the caps system running cost thousands. The last time it failed It took three reman Caps pumps to get one that Did not immediately fill the engine with fuel. I pulled the engine and put bearings in it and glad I did the rod bearing looked not good.
