WCIL | We have the same set up and only had one year that I had issues with stalks pinching in between the coulter and knife. Had them set by the book. This was in corn on corn that had been disk ripped and field cultivated. Neighbor had co-op sidedress his with a Blu-jet that had new blades and knives and they couldn't get through. I ended up doing it with ours with a little trouble but was able to get it done. No rhyme or reason. Like other poster, maybe swept back knives? I personally don't like the nozzle inject set ups but if in high trash fields it may be what works best. | |
