Subject: Do inline small square balers always make more consistent length bales

Huron county Ontario Canada
Currently running a NH570 small square baler and Kuhn's accumulator. Bale length is ok if you feed the baler consistently and get your strokes per bale in the 10-12 range. It has always made longer bales if the windrow gets heavier and shorter bales if the windrow gets thinner. On Monday we made 1000 bales and we had lots of turning because of little fields, with no hay going through at times and ended up with lots of short bales. This doesn't make for nice stacking with the grapple!

Has me wondering about MF1840's, I keep reading that they make a more consistent length bales but what about in a variable windrow? Do they still make a consistent length bale even if your strokes per bale changes some?
