That crossed my mind. I have a close family member that gets good LTL shipping and receiving rates. They say longtime customers and consistently helps that.
Biggest thing that sucks with LTL is they often deliver a poor experience. Don't call ahead, don't show up when they are supposed to, pallets and boxes often damaged, terrified of any driveway that isn't 45 feet wide while seeing semis in the yard that somehow got in there, but it seems to be the nature of the beast. |
