SCMN | I’m part way through replacing all the pins and bushings in my backhoe. Some of the bushings have internal and external grease grooves with a hole through to connect them. Am I correct in thinking that it would be better to orient the bushing through hole as far away from the zerk as possible? My thought is the grease then has to follow both grooves instead of take the path of least resistance.
