Have done the same since I’ve been in this house with an upstairs unit.
Would the downstairs unit run less if you kept upstairs at 70? Yes, certainly. But I believe you will pay more for the whole house that way. You could try a month one way and a month the other or alternate weeks might make more sense but it would be hard to make an accurate comparison. The weather is just too variable. | |
