Michigan | I don't have hail insurance. We just don't get much hail in this part of the world. But, at 3-5% it sounds like I wouldn't get enough back to do much more than cover my premiums.
I sort of agree with you on the leaf loss. If you never want your corn to have a bad day for optimal yield---mine had a bad day. The 18% AI loss estimate may be way too high but it can't be 0% either.
My marketing plan since I missed the memo and didn't sell much during the ~5 day window we had in early May before the bottom dropped out of the corn market was to make it up on volume. | |
