AR Plowboy - 5/22/2026 20:02 So the law is on the county books. To me untill that law is changed by whatever means it takes to change the laws there shouldn't be any question about the issue. Obey the law. They shouldn't be issued a license to sell at that location.

As I read the post the law was followed.the restaurant asked for a variance to the by law, a sign was posted to announce the request and if like here a date and place of a meeting to discuss the variance would have been posted on the sign so anyone who wished to object or request special considerations could attend and voice their thoughts.
Then the committee made the decision to allow the restaraunt to serve beer to those who wished to buy it.  THEN the politicians got involved and over ruled their committees decision
So the rules were followed all the way until maybe the politicians deciding to over rule the committee after they had considered all those who attended the meeting.
Were the politicians at the meeting? to provide their concerns or thoughts on the request? or did they just come along after and change the rules?
