I don’t think much dryland wheat in Nebraska will be harvested for grain, a lot is getting grazed out right now as it’s the only thing for cattle to eat. Some areas have caught a little rain to get pastures started, but in others, in another month if there isn’t significant rainfall the number of cows to be sold will be like never seen before. It’s BAD!


As a cattleman myself , i sure hate to hear that for those fellows . I dont know about there but they bring $$$$ in TX right now .

I thought about selling everything and buying back later , my business partner ( Wife ) did not want to do it .

We will see who was right . Been told they will be high for years .

As im told cattle numbers are very low , thats why they are so high .
