There are some departments where all firefighters must also be law enforcement. Rohnert Park, California is one. I believe their weapons are in lock boxes on whatever apparatus they are on.
Sunnyvale, CA, Kalamazoo, East Grand Rapids, Berkeley, and Aiken are others, I believe their.
I think there’s a half dozen more.
Cal Fire fire investigators go the the CHP academy and have the same authority as state police. There are not very many of them.
Thats intresting , grew up with this fellow . Never knew he had his police deal until a little bit ago .
