Population increases some every year. People save. What happens if the money supply doesn't increase? 




The dollar retains its value???


As opposed to what we have now when we run with "minimal" inflation at say 3% and the value of the dollar is cut in half every ~20 years.    So a dollar given to you at birth only retains ~6% of its value if you hold it until you die in your 80's.
