The church has already started putting themselves in that lose/lose situation, IMO, by digging up an obsolete ordinance and seriously expecting it to be enforced.
I’m curious what makes a zoning ordinance “obsolete”?
Is it obsolete just because the new owner didn’t know about it? Is it obsolete just because he
(and others
) don’t like it?
Or is it obsolete because it’s old? Lots of laws are old, are they all obsolete?
IMO, calling it obsolete isn’t going to be a very good strategy for getting it changed.
